BEST CROSS TRAINING SHOES 2025/2026 | Picks for Gym, CrossFit, and More

MY SHOE STORE:

I love filming my best cross-training shoes round-up every year. To me, they’re the cherry on top of the countless shoe releases from the year.

As with any shoe round-up on my channel, it’s important to note that the word “best” is multifactorial. My goal here is to always provide you with multiple options that could be “best” for YOU based on how you train and your foot anatomy.

This year, I broke my favorite picks into multiple categories to help you figure out what you should be wearing. I’ve hand-tested every shoe featured.

If you feel like the market is getting busier with cross-training shoes, you’re not alone. I feel like every year it keeps getting tougher to sift through the endless options.

My biggest pieces of advice for those searching for new training shoes are to keep an open mind when trying new models and to remember that your feet are different than everyone else’s.

The days of fitting square pegs into round holes because “that’s what I’ve always worn” are gone. We have too many solid shoes out there with their own respective lists of pros and cons.

The above are affiliate links; if you buy through these links, I may receive a small commission on the sale. I buy ALL of the products featured on this channel and an affiliate link is NOT a sponsored link.

I don’t take money from companies and the commissions from affiliates help me buy more products and produce more content. At TF2, you have my promise that every review is performed independently and companies have no idea I’m reviewing their gear until it goes live

Either way, use the link or don’t! I just want to make sure you find the best workout shoes for your individual needs and wants. Reach out if you ever have additional questions!

  2. Altra solstice xt3 is unwearably tight on the top of the foot just at the end of the laces. Ive never had this problem with a shoe, my feet arent abnormally thick, youd need abnormally thin feet for this shoe to be wearable

  3. So glad I stumbled across this video. I am an absolute beginner to training shoes — I haven’t done much research and have not tested any brands. From what I understand, I have a more neutral/flat arch and a relatively wide toe (I usually go with men’s shoes because women’s are just too narrow). Most of the training I do is a blend of low-impact HIIT and strength training with dumbbells (love squatting!). Do you have any suggestions for a first-time cross-training shoe that’s also okay with occasional walks? I am not too concerned with pricing if the shoe is worth it.

  4. I am looking for a hybrid shoe. My workout is mostly machines + dumbbell upper body + curls + presses + treadmill (15-30 mins), Any suggestions? Thanks!
